Largest prize about to go unclaimed in US Powerball history
In a Lottery world in which winning big can be frustrating, along came the perfect win when one lucky winner matched correctly 5 numbers in the US Powerball draw last year. The winning ticket was purchased from the Phoenix Mart at 2698 West David McLeod Boulevard in Florence back in October 2014.
The winning numbers were 6, 10, 51, 54, 57, and the Powerball number was 12
South Carolina Lottery officials said a Powerball ticket worth $1 million will expire if not claimed by Thursday April 23rd 2015! Officials reported the ticket matched all five white ball numbers but missed the Powerball number on the Oct. 25 drawing.
The winner must take the Powerball bring to the SC Education Lottery's Columbia Claims Center at 1309 Assembly St. by 4 p.m. on Thursday in order to cash in.
If a winner does not come forward, lotto officials said this would be the largest prize to go unclaimed in the South Carolina Education Lottery's history after current record is $825,000 for an unclaimed ticket that was sold in Belton in 2009!
It’s a shame this soon to be not so ‘lucky winner’ did not purchase his/ her ticket with icelotto since your prize collection is done for you and deposited to your account automatically so you will not have to worry or check numbers at all!
